H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, stressed the importance of empowering minds with cognitive tools and providing the requirements for developing the educational process that contributes to achieving the nation’s renaissance and supporting the pillars of its development.

H.H. the Crown Prince of Fujairah made the remarks while attending the graduation ceremony of 374 male and female students from the Higher Colleges of Technology’s (HCT) Fujairah Campuses.

The ceremony for the Class of 2024, under the theme ‘Empowering Minds, Creating Future’, was held at the Al Bait Metwahid Hall in Fujairah, was attended by Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi; Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Body Building and Fitness Federation; and H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology; Dr. Faisal Alayyan, HCT President & CEO, as well as HCT teaching & administrative staff, and graduates’ parents and families.

H.H. the Crown Prince of Fujairah emphasized the commitment of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah and Member of the UAE Supreme Council, to enhancing the quality of education, both academically and practically. He also highlighted Sheikh Hamad’s ongoing support for the education system in the emirate, recognizing it as a cornerstone of comprehensive development and a key contributor to achieving the UAE’s ambitious vision for global leadership in the education sector.

H.H. the Crown Prince extended his congratulations to the graduates and their families for this academic accomplishment, encouraging them to continue their educational journey and seize opportunities across various fields to serve the nation and contribute to its growth and progress. He also commended the dedication of the educational staff and the support of parents, which helped students achieve outstanding results.

Dr. Faisal Alayyan, HCT President & CEO, delivered a speech on behalf of the HCT Board of Trustees, commending the country’s leadership for its continuous support for the educational sector. He emphasized that this support has been a significant motivation for the successful graduation of this year's cohort.

The program of the ceremony featured a visual presentation entitled "Igniting Excellence," highlighting the accomplishments of HCT graduates. This was followed by speeches from the graduates, who expressed their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all who contributed to their success. The event then proceeded with the oath of allegiance, the formal graduation ceremony, and the recognition of outstanding students.
