HCT Student Engagement and Success eliminates any potential barriers to student success through providing the channels for timely communication and service delivery. We ensure that students can access and effectively use electronic services that are appropriate for their needs such as the student feedback system, program choice application, community service program application, and the Mehnaty job portal.
Campus Student Life extends and arranges community service opportunities for students for internal events (HCT) and external events (government community service provider). The service is extended towards students to achieve the mandatory 100 hours of Community Service needed for students to graduate.
The goal of the HCT Leadership programs is to empower students with 21st century skills in a vibrant campus environment engaged with their local communities. The programs available help develop students into well-rounded adults with strong academic and soft skills
The Youth Leadership Program is aimed at current and future HCT students that will recognize students’ potential and encourage their development as future leaders in society.
The HCT aims to promote sports and health awareness among students and staff by creating an environment which enhances the values of teamwork, leadership and life-long health and well-being.
All campuses provide opportunities for students to fulfill their needs and practise their hobbies, including sports activities, gym classes, special courses and professional seminars on health awareness. A college-based nurse is also available at some colleges.
The HCT actively promotes healthy living and engages in many activities throughout the year to raise awareness of general health issues and those specifically relevant to the UAE, such as diabetes and thalassemia.
Sport is an integral part of the HCT learning experience. Facilities vary at each college, however ongoing activities allow students to take part in a wide range of sports throughout the academic year.
Students are encouraged to participate in sporting activities in order to develop teamwork and leadership skills, in addition to the health benefits.
Many of the HCT campuses have football fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming pools, athletic tracks and/or trails for jogging and walking. The HCT provides sports instructors to assist students with their individual or team activities.
HCT encourages students and staff to create relevant interest clubs on campuses. Three mandatory clubs are required to be operational in each campus.
Students interests are taken into consideration while creating student clubs. Like-minded group of people get together to share and compare your ideas or reveal the passion for certain things. Join an existing campus club and organization or start a new one, if your interest is not covered.

The HCT Discount Program offers students, alumni, faculty and staff discounts at participating outlets across the UAE. To avail of the discount, one has to present their valid HCT ID card at the purchase point. New offers are added throughout the year, and program updates will be sent by HCT email.

Each college has its own Student Leadership Group, called the Student Council or Student Parliament. These councils act as a link between the students and college management to improve student life. They plan and organize various activities and events throughout the year.
Student representatives of all the colleges also meet and elect a system-wide HCT Student Council. This committee represents the wider HCT student body inside the country as well as abroad.
