- HCT appointed as one of the Lead Centers of UNESCO’s inaugural UNEVOC Network Coaction Initiative, to lead a global project entitled “Future Foresight Institutional Capacity for Post COVID-19 World”.
- HCT celebrated the graduation of its students across its 16 campuses at Expo 2020 Dubai over four consecutive days. Around 4,000 male and female students celebrated this momentous achievement at this remarkable global event.

- The HCT launched the first Artificial Intelligence Academy of its kind in the UAE in collaboration with the National Program for Artificial intelligence to provide educational and training programs in positions related to Artificial Intelligence.
- The first higher education institution in the UAE to incorporate volunteer hours in its curriculum as a mandatory graduation requirement for HCT students. To date, students have completed over one and a half million volunteer hours.

- he HCT signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization (MOHRE), in line with the directives of HH Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, to provide training and upskilling for 18,000 Emirati students through the National Training Program during the next three years.
