The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) is proud to organize and host, in conjunction with the IEEE UAE Chapter, the 16th annual IEEE UAE Student Day, to be held on November 26, 2022.

The Student Day will gather IEEE members from around the UAE and will see university students from UAE-based universities participate in a range of fun, interactive and exciting competitions.

The main objectives of the Student Day are to:

• Enhance the culture of competition among engineering students
• Recognize outstanding achievements of IEEE student members
• Exchange experience between UAE IEEE Students, so as to enhance leadership qualities of IEEE students
• Introduce the IEEE to the public

Competition Instructions & Rules

Participants in Competitions Categories 1, 2 & 4 should be by Engineering or Computer Information Science (CIS) undergraduate students, with active IEEE Student Membership.

1. Category # 3 (Community Service Competition) is OPEN for all UAE-based Undergraduate Students.
2. Every University can participate in two groups for each category
3. Three winners will be chosen for each Competition Category
4. The competition winners will receive cash money prizes & IEEE Recognition Certificates
5. All participants are eligible for IEEE Appreciation Certificate
