HCT Successfully Concludes Transformative HCT LEAD Programme in Partnership with INSEAD

The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) has completed the management development programme delivered in collaboration with INSEAD on Navigating the Future: Finance, AI, and Leadership Programme as part of its flagship HCT LEAD strategic initiative. This intensive and transformative programme focused on three core themes: value-based financial management, ethical AI implementation, and collaborative leadership. Through engaging discussions, real-world case studies, and dynamic simulations, participants gained practical knowledge on AI ethics, data-driven decision-making, and fostering innovation through teamwork, each of which will play a pivotal role in HCT's strategic growth.

Over five days, 37 mid-level managers from HCT’s Academic and Administration divisions participated in the programme, receiving expert guidance from INSEAD’s world-renowned faculty. The programme gave them insights into integrating AI into business strategies, making informed financial decisions, and enhancing their leadership styles to foster greater team collaboration and innovation.

Mr. Mohammed Al Nuaimi, HCT Vice President of Shared Services, emphasised that this Programme is a testament to HCT’s unwavering commitment to fostering leadership excellence. The programme is designed to equip our management team with the skills to navigate an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving global landscape, empowering them to drive meaningful and sustainable impact.

While distributing the programme's completion certificates to the participants, Al Nuaimi underscored the critical importance of translating the valuable insights gained from the programme into actionable strategies that will support HCT’s long-term goals and contribute to the institution’s continued growth and success.

Developing a Pipeline of Forward-Thinking Leaders

The HCT LEAD programme will continue to drive leadership development across the institution. In April 2025, a second cohort will undergo the same INSEAD programme, focusing on equipping more mid-level managers from the Academic and Administration divisions with the same transformative skills. Additionally, HCT is planning an advanced-level programme for this cohort, further deepening their expertise in strategic finance, AI, and leadership as part of the HCT LEAD Managerial track.

The HCT LEAD programme is a cornerstone of HCT's strategic commitment to building a pipeline of capable, forward-thinking leaders who can drive the institution's growth and adapt to the evolving demands of the workforce.
