H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Public Services Department, attended the graduation ceremony of 442 students from the Higher Colleges of Technology in Ras Al Khaimah, Class of 2024, under the theme "Empowering Minds, Creating Future".

The graduation ceremony was held at the Al Hamra International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Ras Al Khaimah, in the presence of dignitaries, senior officials, HCT faculty and administrative staff, as well as parents and families of the graduates.

In his speech, H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi stressed that the UAE, thanks to the directives of the country’s leadership, is paying great attention to the higher education sector and enhancing its performance to keep up with the demands of the rapid technological developments witnessed in the world, with efficiency and readiness according to the highest international standards.

H.E. Sheikh Ahmed praised the role played by the HCT in supporting national cadres, holders of applied bachelor's degrees and vocational diplomas in vital fields, and equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills, preparing them to be future leaders, contributing to the comprehensive development process witnessed by the country, and competing in the labor market.

His Excellency congratulated the graduates on their academic achievements and wished them ongoing success in both their academic and professional journeys. He emphasized that young people are the backbone of the nation and the leaders of tomorrow, bearing the responsibility of serving and uplifting the country. He highlighted that they are a crucial element in the UAE's ambitious vision, which is centered on innovation and knowledge as key drivers for achieving comprehensive and sustainable development.

On behalf of the HCT’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Faisal Alayyan, HCT President & CEO, extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the country's leadership for their unwavering and limitless support of the Higher Colleges of Technology, which has been instrumental in enabling HCT to successfully equip the labor market with highly skilled professionals capable of navigating future challenges and changes.

The graduates expressed their pride in this achievement, their gratitude and appreciation to all who contributed to this success, and their determination to continue the journey of learning and self-development to achieve their ambitions and aspirations and contribute to building a bright future for their country.

The celebratory ceremony concluded with H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, accompanied by Dr. Faisal Alayyan, presenting certificates to graduates in the programs of Engineering, Health Sciences, Business, Applied Media, Computer Information Science, and Education.
