HCT’s Industry Connections Strengthened as Innovation & Entrepreneurship Program Hosts 14 Partners for IAC Meeting
HCT’s bonds with its industry partners continue to be fortified as the Business Division’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) program hosted 14 corporate big-hitters at its Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) meeting at the HCT-Dubai Men’s Campus.
In attendance were senior members from Emirates NBD, Khalifa Fund, Ten Point Nine Management Consultancies, the Bin Jumah Group, Letsrise, Vrmada, Fala Group, SIA Partners, The Marketing Boutique, INSEAD and DAZCO, as well as from the the Young Arab Leaders, whose mission is to catalyze the entrepreneurial and professional development of the next generation of leaders in the Arab world through mentorship and educational initiatives.
Various topics such as the key skills necessary for I&E graduates, internship opportunities, joint projects, professional certifications and mechanisms of future collaboration were discussed by the IAC members.
The IAC aims to bring industry relevance to academic programs, thus ensuring the academic components of the programs match industry needs. The IAC advises on all matters related to the development and delivery of curricula. It also provides students with internship and potential employment opportunities.
