The HCT-Dubai campuses celebrated the continued achievements and fruitful collaborations with its industry and community partners, when they hosted the annual Partners’ Recognition Ceremony. More than 40 representatives from corporations, government entities and industry leaders, from a wide range of sectors, were feted for their support of campuses’ workforce-oriented training, employment, work experience and volunteering initiatives.

The annual Partners Recognition Ceremony aims to recognize employers who support the Dubai Men’s and Dubai Women’s strategic goals and initiatives, particularly with respect to assisting our graduating students.

“Today’s celebration is a meaningful expression of our thanks and gratitude to your corporate entities’ continuous support and collaboration across different fields, particularly in the provision of job opportunities, work experience, internships, training, mentoring and workshops,” Dr. Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director of the HCT-Dubai campuses, notified the audience.

Dr. Kazim noted that industry engagement, collaborations and partnerships are at the core of HCT’s educational ecosystem, as it seeks to create strategic partnerships of capacity building initiatives, so as to implement national priorities, including the National Employment Strategy.

“Your collaborations, and willingness to work alongside us have given our students’ unique learning and job-focused opportunities, making them more ready, confident and capable for the world of work,” he said.

The industry partners were honored through the presentation of four awards, being:

• Graduate Employer of the Year Award
• Work Placement & Internship Award
• Students’ Wellbeing & Personal Development Award
• Industrial Research & Development Award
