H.H. Sheikha Dr. Moza bint Tahnoun Attends HCT’s Graduation of 575 Female Students from Abu Dhabi Emirate
Her Highness Sheikha Dr. Moza bint Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan attended the graduation ceremony of 575 female students from HCT’s campuses in the Abu Dhabi Emirate, as part of the institution’s 2022 graduating cohort of 3,344 male and female graduates.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikha Hind Al Mualla, HCT Vice President of Employability & Knowledge Economy, Dr. Aisha Abushelaibi, Executive Director of the HCT-Abu Dhabi campuses, dignitaries, senior officials, HCT teaching and administrative staff, and graduates’ mothers.
H.H. Sheikha Dr. Moza bint Tahnoun extended her thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the Mother of the Nation, Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), for her continuous and constant support of Emirati women, which has enabled Emirati women to prove their merit both locally and globally, and continue their journey of empowerment and giving.
Sheikha Dr. Moza also congratulated the graduates on their success and achievements, saying the Mother of the Nation shares the graduates’ joy of graduation, describing it as reflecting all the hard work and effort they have put since the beginning of each stage of the journey.
Sheikha Dr. Moza extended her sincere thanks and appreciation to the UAE’s leaders, who have spared no effort to support the education of the daughters of the UAE to get the best opportunities and possibilities, so that they became the best ambassadors of their country at home and abroad. She also commended HCT’s efforts, and those of its teaching and administrative staff, and expressed her appreciation to the parents who encourage their daughters to achieve excellence, saying she is proud of the graduates who are the UAE’s hope and future.
On behalf of the HCT’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Aisha Abushelaibi, Executive Director of HCT-Abu Dhabi campuses, extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE’s leadership for their continuous support of HCT, which has empowered HCT to fulfill its mission successfully.
Dr. Aisha Abushelaibi announced the graduation of the 575 female students, comprised of 415 graduates from Abu Dhabi Women’s, 101 from Al Ain Women’s, 46 from HCT’s Al Dhafra Women’s campuses, and 13 graduates from the Khalifa bin Zayed Air College.
On behalf of her co-graduates, HCT graduate Shaimaa Ali Al Hammadi expressed pride and gratitude to H.H. Sheikha Dr. Moza bint Tahnoun for atttending their graduation ceremony and sharing with them and their mothers the happiness of their success and excellence. The graduates also extended their appreciation to their parents and teachers for their efforts and support during their studies, expressing their enthusiasm at commencing work to serve their country.
The graduates then performed the Pledge of Allegiance to express their loyalty and devotion to their country and its leaders, and their commitment to contribute to building the future of the UAE.
H.H. Sheikha Dr. Moza bint Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan awarded the "scarf of pride" to the parents of distinguished graduates who achieved the highest GPAs in their respective colleges, being Shaimaa Ali Al Hammadi from HCT-Abu Dhabi Women’s, Kholoud Hamdan Al Kalbani from HCT-Al Ain Women’s, Reem Sultan Al Mansouri from HCT-Madinat Zayed Women's, Fatima Abdullah Al Marzooqi from HCT-Ruwais Women's and Lieutenant Aisha Ali Al Yamahi from Khalifa bin Zayed Air College. Sheikha Dr. Moza bint Tahnoun also presented the graduates with their certificates and posed for a commemorative group photo with the graduates.
