H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Council for the Security of Border Crossing Points, attended the graduation ceremony of the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) - Dubai campuses, the 2024 cohort, under the theme 'Empowering Minds, Creating Future,' held on Wednesday, 09 October 2024, at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai.

His Highness honored 34 graduates who were awarded credentials with Distinction and Distinction with Honors, among a total of 432 graduates.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minster of Sports, Chancellor of the Higher Colleges of Technology; Dr. Faisal Alayyan, HCT President & CEO, Dr. Yahya Al Ansaari, Executive Director of HCT- Dubai Campuses, and number of Dignitaries & Senior Officials, as well as HCT Faculty & Administrative staff, and graduates’ parents and families.

The ceremony commenced with the national anthem, followed by a laser show and a video titled "Igniting Excellence" showcasing some of HCT-Dubai campuses’ achievements. Dr. Faisal Alayyan, HCT President & CEO, then delivered a speech on behalf of the HCT Board of Trustees, expressing his deep gratitude and appreciation to the UAE’s wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, for their unwavering support for the Higher Colleges of Technology, which has significantly contributed to its success in developing skilled professionals across various vital fields.

Dr. Alayyan emphasized that the celebration today honors the youth of the nation, specifically the 2024 cohort of HCT-Dubai graduates, under the theme “Empowering Minds, Creating Future.” He remarked that these graduates were nurtured in line with the vision of the UAE’s wise leadership. Since its inception, HCT has focused on being a platform for developing human resources that effectively contribute to a stronger economic system. He also pointed out some of HCT's achievements in training skilled professionals and successfully placing them in various key and vital sectors.

On behalf of HCT’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Alayyan announced the graduation of 432 male and female students from HCT-Dubai Campuses, the 2024 cohort, who successfully completed their studies and earned their certificates with merit and distinction and are now prepared to contribute to development and serve the nation.

In their acknowledgment speech, the graduates expressed their immense joy at graduating and their pride in being part of HCT, which equipped them with the skills and knowledge needed to face challenges, compete, and demonstrate their abilities. They also conveyed their heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the UAE leadership for its unwavering support, which enabled them to achieve their academic goals and prepare for the future.

They also expressed their gratitude to everyone who supported them during their journey of study and success, including their parents, who provided unwavering care and attention throughout all stages of their lives. They thanked their faculty members as well, acknowledging their dedication and sincerity, which played a crucial role in their achievements and academic excellence.

At the end of the ceremony, H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum joined the graduates for a commemorative group photo. His Highness congratulated them on their achievements and offered his best wishes for their future endeavors.
