The HCT-Al Ain Women’s College (AAWC) hosted an Awards Day recently to acknowledge student excellence and success.

The HCT-Al Ain Colleges Director, Mrs Hamsa Saleh Al Ammari, opened the ceremony by welcoming the students, their parents and AAWC staff and expressed her happiness to recognize such distinguished students whether in their studies or in their contributions to the college and its community.

“Those of you being honoured today have shown that hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence have paid off and your achievements are being recognized.  You should feel very proud of yourselves today, as we are of you,” she said.

After that Mrs Al Ammari recognized the students who had succeeded in a variety of categories including:

• Model Student Award
• Model Student in Residence Award
• Special Recognition Award
• Volunteer Recognition Award
• Technology Award
• Perfect Attendance Award (Foundations)
• Highest Academic Achievement Awards and
• The Director’s Awards

The students receiving awards expressed their happiness to reap the fruits of their hard work and dedication.
