HCT Skills 2026 is a flagship national event by the Higher Colleges of Technology, celebrating applied excellence, technical talent, creativity, and innovation among HCT students. Now in its second edition, the event provides a WorldSkills-aligned platform for students to demonstrate industry-relevant competencies through real-world, hands-on challenges across 40 skill areas, spanning Engineering, Computer and Information Science, Business, Health Sciences, Applied Media, Education, and General Academic disciplines.

Taking place from 14 to 21 September 2026 across HCT’s Dubai Academic City and Abu Dhabi Baniyas campuses, HCT Skills 2026 will bring together more than 800 competitors, faculty members, judges, and industry experts. Through competition, assessment, collaboration, and national recognition, the event reinforces HCT’s commitment to preparing future-ready Emirati talent, strengthening the link between applied learning and workplace expectations, and supporting the UAE’s vision for a highly skilled, innovation-driven workforce.
