Problem or Opportunity Description

The opportunity being address here is to connect on real time with vital measures of sea water such as salinity, pH, and pollution as well as sea weather related to wave current, power, or direction to inform corrective or preventive measures that would preserve human health and safety.

Proposed Solution

The proposed solution is to design a Solar Sea-Weather Station with a built-in Pollution control system. This station is in essence a transmitter with various sensors for collecting weather information such as pH, turbidity, temperature, and humidity. It also utilizes a controller to constantly monitor and transmit the aforementioned parameters real-time from deep-sea to land. A prototype of the system will be developed and tested.
