Problem or Opportunity Description

Areas in building that do no have access to traditional energy sources are in need for self generating power source.

Proposed Solution

The Energy Management-Based Power Harvesting Mat is a product that can be placed on walkways, pathways, and corridors where access of electricity and hence fluorescent light is either seldom or not possible. The proposed design aims to extract the physical variations that forms kinetic energy and convert it into a form of useful energy, which can light-up the routes/courses/pathways while enhancing visibility and access. The induced energy can further be utilized towards accumulation and storage of power to be utilized for other purposes.
