The opportunity here is improve beach cleanliness and reduce the plastic pollution on beaches, ultimately leading to a safer and healthier environment for everyone.
Proposed Solution
The proposed solution is an innovative drone-based system that can efficiently detect and report plastic bottle waste on beaches. The solution incorporates GPS technology and advanced visual AI algorithms to accurately identify and locate plastic bottles on the beach. Upon detection, the system generates a report and immediately notifies the beach management team, enabling them to dispatch workers to remove the bottles and dispose them.
