At HCT, we believe in empowering our students to reach higher. If you’re graduating with a Diploma or Higher Diploma, you may be eligible to continue into a Bachelor’s program through one of three progression routes based on your GPA and work experience.
Three Progression Pathways
Direct Progression

- GPA ≥ 3.5 (Competent with Distinction)
- Start next semester
- No work experience needed. Credit transfer and exemptions apply.
Progression After 1 Year of Work

- Who: GPA 2.8 – 3.49 (Competent with Merit)
- When: With 1 year of relevant working experience.
- Details: Submit proof of work, personal statement, and complete additional assessments if required.
- Exact entry point and study plan shall be determined after mapping of credit exemptions and relevant work experience.
Progression After 2 Years of Work

- Who: GPA 2.0 – 2.79 (Competent)
- When: With 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Details: Similar requirements as above, including proof of employment and relevance to your field.
- Exact entry point and study plan shall be determined after mapping of credit exemptions and relevant work experience.
